Buccaneers vs Saints: Week Nine Inactives

Here are the inactive players for the Buccaneers and Saints ahead of Sunday Night Football

We knew coming into the week nine match-up between the Buccaneers and Saints that the task ahead was going to be a little more difficult for the Buccaneers’ offense than we’d like. Guard Ali Marpet was ruled out on Friday as he deals with a concussion, weakening an already - at times - questionable offensive line. Going up against a tough Saints pass rush without an All-Pro caliber guard is not a great start.

However, on the flip side, we will see the debut of Antonio Brown for the Buccaneers as well as the return of Michael Thomas for the Saints. Thomas hasn’t played since week one against the Bucs where he had just three receptions for seventeen yards while Brown hasn’t played since week two of 2019.

Here are the full inactive lists for each team ahead of their Sunday night collision;

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

G - Ali Marpet

RB - Ke’Shawn Vaughn

DL - Khalil Davis

WR - Justin Watson

QB - Ryan Griffin

New Orleans Saints:

CB - Ken Crawley

OL - Derrick Kelly

RB - Ty Montgomery

The Buccaneers will have guard Aaron Stinnie active for the first time this season in the absence of Ali Marpet while Tyler Johnson gets the nod over Justin Watson at the receiver position with the activation of Brown cutting into someone’s snaps.

The Bucs and Saints kickoff at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC
