Back home for the Raiders. Not the ‘home’ in London or the ‘home away from home’ in Los Angeles, but their actual home in Oakland. They sit at 1-5 on the season, set to face the 2-5 Colts Sunday.
Stanford grad Andrew Luck leads the Colts into Oakland on a tear this season with 20 touchdown passes through seven games. He just hasn’t had a defense able to hold off opposing offenses.
Derek Carr will try to take advantage, but he will be doing it without Marshawn Lynch (injured reserve) and Amari Cooper (traded to Dallas). That means Doug Martin will try to step up as the feature back and Martavis Bryant and Seth Roberts will attempt to fill the void at receiver.
