The Jets got some bad injury news on Monday on Marcus Maye. The news on wide receiver Quincy Enunwa is similarly bad. Enunwa will miss 3-4 weeks with a high ankle sprain as reported by Ian Rapoport.

Enunwa left Sunday’s win against the Colts in the first half, sustaining the injury on the play where he recorded his only reception of the game. Enunwa fumbled on the play.
A 2014 sixth round pick, Enunwa leads the Jets with 22 catches and 287 yards on the season. Although he missed much of training camp with another injury, he developed quick chemistry with Sam Darnold and quickly became the rookie quarterback’s favorite target.
The Jets will likely lean on Jermaine Kearse and Terrelle Pryor at the wide receiver position to step up in Enunwa’s absence. Both played solid games on Sunday after the injury knocked him out of the win over the Colts.
