ThriveFantasy Player Prop Advice: Week 7

ThriveFantasy Tips: Week 7

Have you ever heard of ThriveFantasy?

It is a new Daily Fantasy Sports app that is unlike your usual competitive fantasy choices and meant for the everyday fan. ThriveFantasy focuses on top-tier athletes from every sport while streamlining the drafting process. The result is a captivating DFS game that even the casual and hardcore sports fan can enjoy. You build a lineup around a list of simple binary player propositions.

The less likely the player prop is to take place the more points the choice will be worth. You score points based on the number of props you select correctly. As an example, your team could be made up of 15 picks that you select out of an available list of 20. You will also select two in case of emergency or ICE picks. These ICE picks will automatically be added to your team only if an athlete is ruled out of a game prior to their start time. You will be alerted if an ICE is being used. ThriveFantasy has an app that features live updates to let you know in real time how close your picks are to hitting and to provide you a line of sight of how you stack to the competition.

This week’s article will focus on the $15 NFL Week 7 $1,500 Guaranteed Contest highlighting 10 props to target.

Mike Evans
76.5 Receiving Yards

  • Over = 85 points
  • Under = 115 points

Evans is averaging 97 receiving yards and 122 Air Yards per game this season. He did not see many targets last week which was disappointing considering the matchup, but that will change against the Browns in Week 7. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Josh Gordon
3.5 Receptions

  • Over = 110 points
  • Under = 90 points

Gordon did lead the Patriots wide receivers in targets (9), receptions (5), and Air Yards (90) last week against the Chiefs while playing a season-high 81 percent of the offensive snaps. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop as the Patriots face off against the Bears.

Tarik Cohen
0.5 Total Touchdowns

  • Over = 125 points
  • Under = 75 points

Cohen and Jordan Howard will continue to be deployed in the Bear running back by committee. Cohen has played 41.6 percent of the offensive snaps and has touched the football or been targeted on 40 percent of them. The Patriots defense has struggled mightily against receiving backs and according to Sharp Football Stats currently, rank 19th in efficiency against running backs in the passing game. They also rank 22nd in success rate. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Adam Thielen
98.5 Receiving Yards

  • Over = 100 points
  • Under = 100 points

Thielen is one of only 11 players to have 100 or more receiving yards in six or more consecutive games. Can he extend that streak on Sunday against the Jets? I believe Thielen can. He is currently averaging 14 targets per game. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop.

Mark Ingram
72.5 Total Yards

  • Over = 105 points
  • Under = 95 points

The Ravens defense has been phenomenal all season. They allow the fewest fantasy points per game to running backs and have allowed the third fewest rushing yards (82.8) per game. I believe the Saints will attempt to attack the Ravens defense by leveraging Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara’s yards after the catch ability through the short passing game. My recommendation is to take the under on this player prop.

Michael Crabtree
0.5 Receiving Touchdowns

  • Over = 130 points
  • Under = 70 points

Crabtree is averaging nine targets per game. He scored his first receiving touchdown since the season opener last week against the Titans. He will have opportunities to score a touchdown against the Saints secondary. The unit is currently allowing two receiving touchdowns per game this season. My recommendation is to take the under on this player prop.

Kareem Hunt
79.5 Rushing Yards

  • Over = 100 points
  • Under = 100 points

At this point of the season, Hunt has the fourth most rushing attempts (103) and rushing yards (456). The Bengals defense is allowed 117.2 rushing yards per game. Hunt will have numerous opportunities to produce rushing yards considering the 58.5 projected point total of the matchup between the Chiefs and Bengals.

Travis Kelce
79.5 Receiving Yards

  • Over = 115 points
  • Under = 85 points

Kelce currently leading all tight ends in receiving yards (483) and Air Yards (558). The Bengals defense is allowing 292 passing yards per game. My recommendation is to take the under on this player prop.

Carlos Hyde
68.5 Rushing Yards

  • Over = 110 points
  • Under = 90 points

Hyde (114) has the third most rushing attempts up to this point in the season at the running back position, but he is only averaging 3.4 yards per carry. The Buccaneers defense is only allowing 84.2 rushing yards per game. Hyde is also not heavily used as a receiver out of the backfield which further limits his opportunities. My recommendation is to take the under on this player prop.

Brandin Cooks
77.5 Receiving Yards

  • Over = 100 points
  • Under = 100 points

Cooks is currently averaging 84 receiving yards and 79.3 Air Yards per game. The absence of Cooper Kupp due to an MCL sprain will open the door for additional targets for the Rams receivers. My recommendation is to take the over on this player prop against a 49ers defense allowing 279 passing yards per game.
