Week 7 Late Games Open Thread

Week 7 of the 2018 NFL season continues with a handful of late afternoon games.

If you’re in the New York metropolitan area you get treated to a renewal of one of the NFL’s most heated rivalries, the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys against the 3-2 Washington Redskins on CBS with first place in the NFC East on the line. Fox does not have a late afternoon game in the New York metropolitan area this week. Elsewhere on CBS the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team, the 6-0 Los Angeles Rams, will take on the 1-5 San Francisco 49ers in what looks like a mismatch on paper. In select areas Fox will be televising an excellent late afternoon matchup between the 4-1 first place New Orleans Saints and their juggernaut offense and the 4-2 first place Baltimore Ravens and their best in the NFL defense in a classic offense vs defense showdown. The Ravens are the only team in the NFL Drew Brees has never beaten (including the Saints, whom Brees bested as a San Diego Charger).
