Haush money was recognized for his performance Sunday
Buffalo Bills kicker Stephen Hauschka was selected as the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Tuesday for his performance against the New York Jets on Sunday. During the game he connected on a season-long 54 yard field goal, five extra points, and another field goal during the contest.
His last missed field goal was all the way back in Week one on a 52-yarder. He is ranked fifth in field goal percentage this season. Hauschka has always been a player that the team can count on as his reliable leg has put points on the board when the team has needed it most. On the season he has accounted for 22 percent of the Bills’ total points with 30.
This is the third time in his career that he has won this award with the last time being in Week three of last season.
The 33-year-old is under contract through the 2019 season.
