The Bills have two new linemen.
The Buffalo Bills have made two changes on their offensive line, midway through the ninth game of their season. Right tackle Jordan Mills has been replaced by Jeremiah Sirles while left guard Vlad Ducasse was subbed out in favor of rookie Wyatt Teller.
Mills returned after one series. So did Ducasse. They each missed one offensive drive on consecutive series.
Mills has started every game at right tackle since head coach Sean McDermott was hired. Ducasse started the final 12 games of the year at right guard last year, replacing Jonathan Miller, before flipping to start the first eight games of the year at left guard this year.
It’s not surprising that Buffalo is sprinkling in other players. The offensive line has been horrible in 2018. Teller was the team’s fifth-round selection in April’s NFL Draft. Sirles was signed by Buffalo at the end of September after his release from the Carolina Panthers. (It should be noted, he was only with the Panthers for five months and wasn’t there when Bills general manager Brandon Beane and coach Sean McDermott were with the team.)
