There were several good performance from the week in Mobile, but it would be hard to find three names who raised their draft stock more than Khalen Saunders, Nasir Adderley, and Charles Omenihu. These guys may not have a first round grade but they all made a very good first impression on the Raiders staff.
Khalen Saunders — a 6-2, 320-pound defensive tackle from Western Illinois — certainly left a lasting impression at the Senior Bowl for more than one reason. A video of Saunders doing a back flip after practice went viral. Impressive for a 320-pound man. But he would need to show more than acrobatics.
Throughout the week Saunders demonstrated his combination of speed and strength during one on one drills. The big play of the game for Saunders was a first quarter sack of Will Grier.

While defensive tackle is not necessarily a position of need for the Raiders, Saunders is the type of player who is worth a pick in the middle to later rounds should he last that long.
Safety, on the other hand, is a position that is in need of a major upgrade. Delaware’s Nasir Adderley to the Raiders just seems like a match made in heaven. The affection for each other seems mutual. Gruden and his staff chose Adderley to be one of three captains of the North squad and after the game he was decked out in full Raiders gear.
In the first two years of his career at Delaware, Adderley played cornerback. In his junior season he made the switch to safety for the final two years of his career. His versatility is what coaches covet in defensive backs in today’s NFL.
The versatility was on display during the week at the Senior Bowl. He showed his coverage skills in one on one drills, balls skills with an interception of Tyree Jackson in the game, and his ability to be a physical presence in the run game with a few tackles in the open field.

Charles Omenihu is not a name you will see in the early rounds of mock drafts but he certainly helped himself with a standout week at the Senior Bowl.
A physical specimen, Omenihu measured in at 6-5 and 5/8 inches, 274 pounds, with long 36.5 arms (longest at the Senior Bowl since 2013).
He has some physical traits that you love, including rare length, and he played really hard today. Some of his big plays were made off of effort and just not quitting on the play. He’s not a finished product, but there’s a lot to work with, and he helped himself in Mobile.” - Daniel Jeremiah
Talk about a stat sheet stuffer, in the game Omenihu recorded three tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, one forced fumble, and one quarterback hurry. With a strong performance at the combine, Omenihu could see his stock rise into the top 50 range.

With 10 selections in the 2019 draft the Raiders would be very lucky to grab one of these young prospects.
