Like every franchise, the Falcons have a history littered with what-might-have-beens.
The Falcons have a long history full of genuinely great players, but you don’t enjoy over three decades without a Super Bowl without some speed bumps along the way, and the Falcons have had their share of huge draft disappointments.
Sparked by a question asked by Bleeding Green Nation, I polled the good (?) people of Twitter to see who they thought would be a star and ultimately fell well short of those expectations. The answers were quite depressing, as you’d expect, but they really run the gamut from “I thought that guy would be good” to “man, almost everyone thought that guy would be good.”
Scroll through the collection of answers we’ve compiled below, and then discuss your own choices.
