Today features the on-field workouts for running backs and offensive linemen. Come talk about it with us!
The 2019 NFL Combine’s on-field workouts begin today, starting at 9:00 AM. You can view it live on the NFL Network or at the NFL’s Combine Hub. Today we’ll see the offensive linemen and running backs perform.
For the tailbacks, expect former Alabama Crimson Tide player Josh Jacobs to place highly in several events including the three-cone drill, vertical and broad jumps. Former Stanford Cardinal Bryce Love should be able to place highly in the 40-yard dash, if not win it outright. If Buffalo Bills fans are looking for a sleeper, my money is on Elijah Holyfield. Evander Holyfield’s son ran high-school track and understandably comes from elite athletic stock.
The offensive-line class lacks top-tier athletes, but T/G Cody Ford should be able to put on a show in any tests or drills that require him to move his feet. Every Bills fan should tune in to see his kick slide. NC State’s Garrett Bradbury is another interior lineman who moves extremely well for his size and with the help of his shorter, 31” arms put up 34 reps on the bench press as well.
