Report: Titans releasing Josh Kline

Paul Kuharsky is reporting that the Titans are releasing Josh Kline:

The move saves the team $3.25 million against the salary cap.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that the Titans offered Kline a pay cut but he declined:

It probably would have been a good idea for Kline to take that pay cut because it is hard to see him getting signed on anywhere else.

Now the Titans have a starting spot on the offensive line to fill. There doesn’t appear to be anything going on with Quinton Spain, so it seems that the Titans will have 2 new starting guards when the 2019 season opens. We know that one of them will be Rodger Saffold. We don’t yet know who the other will be.

I assume we will see another move in free agency, but if we don’t you have to move iOL to the top of the needs list.

That’s probably a very real possibility at this point.
