The Redskins signed Ereck Flowers, a former first-round pick and starting tackle -- but they plan to use him at guard. Flowers, who visited the facility Monday, will also be used at tackle as second-year Geron Christian recovers from a torn MCL suffered... https://t.co/RmIONFa7Ja

Gets away with a hands to the face here. Hand placement is critical inside. Need it to land initial punches and fight for leverage. At least so far, hands aren't a positive trait for Flowers pic.twitter.com/gc1YaZ1lhi
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) March 18, 2019
Any idea on the structure of that contract? $4m is more than they're paying either QB
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) March 18, 2019
As many guessed, the $4m includes incentives. Not sure of the exact structure but it is not a straight $4m deal for the one year.
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) March 18, 2019
By signing Ereck Flowers to a $4M deal, the Redskins cancel out their 6th round 2020 compensatory pick for the loss of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. https://t.co/AZvfJynJ6K
— Nick Korte (@nickkorte) March 18, 2019
I'm seeing a fair amount of criticism in my feed how about Ereck Flowers going to DC cancels out a compensatory pick.
— Nick Korte (@nickkorte) March 19, 2019
The transaction itself doesn't surprise me. The Redskins are a team that has long prioritized veteran signings in the present over comp picks in the future.
Redskins fans and observers, I apologize: there was a bug in my program that was not allowing the signing of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to be shown.
— Nick Korte (@nickkorte) March 18, 2019

The more information that comes out, the more it seems that the Giants overvaluing Jabril Peppers was the big disconnect between the OBJ trade and conventional wisdom about what OBJ should be worth in trade. https://t.co/2b5zOmti7w
