Arizona Cardinals sign safety Tyler Sigler to contract after rookie mini-camp

Making dreams come true, that is what the Arizona Cardinals do.

Coming out of their rookie minicamp, they have signed former Division III safety Tyler Sigler to a contract. Sigler played his college ball at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.

Sigler, 6-3 and 213 pounds, was a five-year player at Wheaton, who was given an extra year of eligibility after losing his then senior season in 2017 to an injury.

It was pretty good fate for the second-team All North Region safety, who had his best season, finishing with 50 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and one sack on the season. Sigler also had one interception and two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery on the season.

While Sigler has a long, long way to go, he would be the second Division III prospect to get a roster spot for the team, as backup offensive lineman Jeremy Vujnovich was a division III prospect with Louisiana College.

Congratulations to Sigler and good luck in your pursuit.
