Weekend Open Thread
Good Morning!
What a win yesterday by the USWNT over France that all three of us here at the DN watched, exciting wasn’t it? In case you’re wondering where the “soccer news” stuff came from, it started as a running joke between myself and Gone Fishin about four years ago. A few of us were soccer watchers (me mostly) and took the good natured ribbing in stride (from Gone Fishin), but one guy used to get so mad. Fishin and I were talking about it yesterday trying to remember who that was. Today’s lead picture is Randall Cunningham for those of you to young to remember. Meanwhile, we’ll catch up on our NFC North opponents and then carry on with our news and links thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and have another beer, it’s the weekend!
