The more casual Raiders fans out there may not recognize many of the players taking the field tonight for the Raiders. The list of players who are not suited up is extensive and included every established veteran starter and then some.
Inactive:
Derek Carr, Josh Jacobs, Doug Martin, Keith Smith (NFI), Jalen Richard, Tyrell Williams, Antonio Brown, Darren Waller, Luke Willson, Kolton Miller, Richie Incognito, Rodney Hudson, Gabe Jackson, Trent Brown, Denzelle Good (PUP), Josh Mauro, Justin Ellis, Johnathan Hankins, Maurice Hurst, PJ Hall, Benson Mayowa, Vontaze Burfict, Tahir Whitehead, Brandon Marshall. Gareon Conley, Daryl Worley, Lamarcus Joyner, Karl Joseph, and Dwayne Harris.
The only projected starters who are suited up are rookies Clelin Ferrell and Johnathan Abram.
There is no official list of inactives for preseason games, so we don’t know who the Rams are sitting, but you can bet it’s a similar situation. It was like this last year in LA too.
