A collection of San Francisco 49ers related links for Tuesday, August 13th, 2019
After an eventful weekend that included a preseason win, some injuries, and the addition of a new potential swing tackle, quiet returned to the 49ers facility. That is until Terrell Owens showed up. The former 49ers receiver decided to post a couple videos to instagram from the 49ers’ locker room joking about trying to get signed. At least you’d hope it was a joke considering T.O. has a long history of trying to return to the 49ers or football in general. A notion which was compounded by his closing statements of staying ready at 45 while waiting for a phone call from any team that needs him.
T.O. was a force to be reckoned with during his playing days, giving his all when on the field while drawing the ire of many teams with his questionable antics, but those days are long over. At his age his physical dominance is no longer a thing to consider when weighing the bad. Time catches up with everyone and you just hope that T.O. has matured enough to realize that.
Obviously I’m taking this a little too seriously, but the lack of news forced my hand. So why don’t I just let you get to those links...

"The winners of the Preseason Week 1 were the two @49ers WRs who showed up, balled out, and showed why there's hope for a different story at the that position this year. @MrHurd_1 and Deebo Samuel had amazing weekends, while across the Bay, things didn't go as well." - @PSchrags pic.twitter.com/9NioddEhg9
