After weeks of waiting, HBO’s Hard Knocks featuring the Oakland Raiders training camp is finally upon us. Tonight we’ll get a look inside the Napa camp of the Silver and Black after the HBO cameras have been there for weeks. Last year’s series with the Browns proved fascinating, and this year’s should be no different with Jon Gruden’s and his coaching staff and a cast of characters on the Raiders team.
Some of you may have been to Napa to watch camp or practices before, but this show will give us a previously unseen view of the inner workings of the team and team meetings, along with giving us an idea of how the coaching staff handles various issues that come up in an NFL training camp. We should also get a look at how talented our young players really are and how bright the future of the Raiders might be. One thing’s for sure, it won’t be boring. The Raiders never are.
