The Seattle Seahawks are already a game into the 2019 preseason, which means these training camp practices are coming to an end. Monday represented the penultimate session for the year, as the team is also preparing for this Sunday’s showdown at the Minnesota Vikings.
With members of the US military on hand, the Seahawks took to the VMAC field in pads. Some of the highlights included some nice pass break-ups by Shaquill Grifin and Tre Flowers, as well as John Ursua putting one hell of a move on Ugo Amadi, somewhat similar to what he pulled off in last Thursday’s game against the Denver Broncos. Perhaps one of the more encouraging highlights to see was a touchdown catch by Gary Jennings Jr, who’s reportedly had a quiet training camp. It was evidently his best day of practice yet, and he needs it given the competitive nature of this Seahawks WR depth chart.
Oh yes, and while there’s no video of this that I could find, this happened. Classic Cheathawks action from Pete Carroll.
Controversial OPI call on Ferguson on Flowers. Carroll asks about 100 visiting military what they think. They said TD so Carroll changes call. 35 TD from Lynch to end practice.
