The night Derrius Guice tore his ACL, he told us all he was fine. He knew he was lying. He didn't want anyone freaking out, including himself.

I asked every player in Richmond the same final question: What is success in 2019?
Derrius's answer was so obvious it kinda surprised me. Full interview: https://t.co/uvGavM7Hph pic.twitter.com/kQNG9sWJQ7
The #Redskins break camp with Case Keenum clearly having jumped Colt McCoy for the QB1 spot, even if McCoy winds up starting Thursday night. Final notebook from Richmond: https://t.co/nyWe3rSazp
— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) August 11, 2019
Smart take from Craig. Asked KOC whether they discussed doing a limited menu that plays to Haskins’ skills, and he said they’re in this for the long haul, even if it’s rougher short-term.
— michael phillips (@michaelpRTD) August 11, 2019
And definitely think McCoy is playing hurt and it’s hindering him. https://t.co/Y9mNbip7mQ

Washington has told multiple teams this summer it is not trading 7-time Pro Bowl OT Trent Williams, per sources. Williams has held out of camp, but Washington hasn’t flinched. Teams repeatedly have called about Williams, teams have inquired, and so far, teams have been rebuffed.
— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) August 13, 2019
Have long felt IF going to trade, would happen in late August or so when teams more desperate. I don’t think the Skins believe this was just about the medical issues. Don’t have to do anything —under contract— but if do, maybe package to get something to help right now? Wait/see https://t.co/lWJ3H1lIy7
— John Keim (@john_keim) August 13, 2019
#Redskins shouldn’t let him go. They should be doing everything they can to bring him back. Sounds like they aren’t letting him go, but are they doing what it takes to get him back? https://t.co/87fmP4Nxz6
— Mark Bullock (@MarkBullockNFL) August 13, 2019
Trent Willliams will be traded. Only a matter of time
— Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) August 13, 2019

Last day of camp and this is the icing on the cake! Never thought in a million years I’d be given the opportunity to do a jersey swap w my favorite @Redskins Redskins player @RyanKerrigan91 ! Waited a year to see @DhaSickest run with the ball for the #Redskins. Does so with a smile! Even in warm-ups he has fun. Will he get a few touches Thursday? Sure hope so! #HTTR pic.twitter.com/QsMvuxyOCv
— Ed Sheahin (@NFLPhotoGuy) August 11, 2019
During the time I was put on the exempt list the Skins went out of their way to cut my insurance off, froze my payments, refuse to pay me and even recoup pay. All for a very real injury that THEY decided was made up. Which is why people fear being hurt in the league.
— Va-Cay (@iammsuzy) August 12, 2019
Su'a Cravens on the Trent Williams scenario... https://t.co/3NtC9YNPge
— Breaking Burgundy 2.0 (@breakburgundy) August 12, 2019
I will not be intimated nor will this go away anytime soon Skins. The evidence in court shows your guilty actions. The lies and mixed stories your witness provided have all been proven false . Use the CBA rules to your advantage all you want I will still win ! You will not!
— Va-Cay (@iammsuzy) August 12, 2019
2 years and no interest added to what I’m rightfully due and no timetable as to when the Skins will be forced to pay me what they owe. I’m willing to fight until the end. I thank the players who have experienced this with this team first hand that have called them on it!
— Va-Cay (@iammsuzy) August 12, 2019
I will continue to fight this case and as the Skins continue to call countless irrelevant witnesses to buy time and hopefully wait me out from their due fate . I will not settle no matter how much the Skins drag their feet on this . They know they’re guilty!
— Va-Cay (@iammsuzy) August 12, 2019
I don't know all the details. I do remember that Cravens texted teammates and staffers the night after final cuts were made (he made team) saying goodbyes and that he was leaving team. Then he was placed on Reserved/left squad list. Players don't get paid when on that list. https://t.co/T9Ur2me7MS
— Grant Paulsen (@granthpaulsen) August 12, 2019
Who knows how valid Su’a Cravens’ #Redskins rant is. What we do know about Su’a:
— Al Galdi (@AlGaldi) August 12, 2019
- Quit on 2016 per teammates like DHall by not getting arm drained
- Given 2017 starting SS job but then left #Skins on weekend of cut to 53
- Did nothing for 2018 #Broncos
- Went missing at USC
Su'a Cravens was drafted in rd 2 in 16. Since then he's plyd in just 16 gms (3 strts), made just 51 tckls, just 3 QB hits, 1 int for 2 yds, quit on Skins the day after final cuts (costing another player a job), was IR'd by Den for 2 mths, then did nothing of note after his rtrn.

Heard a beat reporter on the radio say that Redskins top 3 WR are Richardson, McLaurin, and Quinn. Does this mean Doctson is #4 or is the former 1st rounder on the way out the door. If coaches see the same way, def something to keep an eye on. #Redskins

Well, I’ve long said it’s really a two man comp. only have to watch practices to know and see how reps are divvied up etc.
— John Keim (@john_keim) August 12, 2019
Correct. And they need to ask selves: if something happens to the starter would Haskins be ready? Right now I’d say they would say no. With a rookie I’d keep 3. Why rush it?

One of the great play callers/QB coaches in the #NFL has told me on many occasions that some of the “wordiness” of offensive play calls is totally unnecessary and that he has taken steps to cut it back and make it easier on his QB’s. Common sense, huh?

Sometimes its hard to put offers into context if we just hear an annual value of a deal. If Dak is looking for a deal that averages $40M a year but runs for 10 years and is set up like Kaepernicks old contract with escalators to hit the APY you can argue for it. 4 years? No way
