It was an inauspicious start to the season for the Cincinnati Bengals, as the team lost by three touchdowns on the road to the Chiefs. However, it wasn’t a total waste, as we were able to get some look at some up-and-comers for the squad.
How do we feel about the first-string offense? Who made the best case for a roster spot with their performance on Saturday night?
We also look ahead to the preseason Week 2 clash against the Redskins. Is that actually a better barometer of where the team is at, given the returns of players to the lineup and starters likely getting more extensive playing time?
