Let’s see what Twitter had to say.
Hey Falcoholics! In the final game of 2019, the Atlanta Falcons traveled south to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Just in case you missed the game or you’d just like to read some tweets, Twitter has you covered! Let’s recap the game.
Falcons would receive the ball first, as they have the past eight games.
This is the 8th straight game that the #Falcons have received the ball to start the game.

Come on, let's figure out this draft slot so we can read through way too many mock drafts until we hate everything about football.

One more game before we begin over-analyzing everything the #Falcons do for the next 8 months

season comes to an end today, and on a personal note, i'm grateful for the privilege of covering the falcons for @TheFalcoholic for yet another year. the football might be pretty bad, but the talented team of writers makes it enjoyable despite the results. on to 2020.

On the Falcons first drive, Ty Sambrailo took a 35-yard touchdown reception to the house! 7-0.

Matt Ryan to Ty Sambrailo for a 35-yard touchdown. That is not a typo.

The Buccaneers would get the ball back and Ronald Jones would immediately fumble, recovered by Deion Jones.

Falcons would settle for a field goal, 10-0.
#Falcons K Younghoe Koo drilled the 27-yard FG and now Atlanta leads 10-0 with 6:56 left in the 1st quarter. #ATLvsTB

Tampa would get on the board with a Cameron Brate TD. 10-7.
Bucs go for it on 4th-and-goal, Winston hits Cameron Brate for a 2-yard TD. Falcons lead cut to 10-7.

Koo would later connect on a 33-yard field goal, extending the lead to 13-7.

On the next drive Jameis Winston threw a pick to Ricardo Allen!

Unfortunately, Matt Ryan fumbled it and Tampa scored. 13-14.
Can we stop pretending installing a completely new pass/run scheme in 2015 is the same as going back to a previous scheme in 2019 that the QB is already extremely experienced in. Ryan had never run most of the Shanahan stuff prior to that season. Totally different.
— Kevin Knight (@FalcoholicKevin) December 29, 2019
That looks like a forward pass to me but ♀️
— Wendy Adams (@wendyradio) December 29, 2019
Koo would kick another field goal, giving the Falcons a 16-14 lead.
Koo now 3/3 on the day and the Falcons have a two point lead.
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) December 29, 2019
Playoff update: The Saints are winning, the Packers are losing.
On Tampa’s next drive, they moved down field and a crazy Breshad Perriman touchdown would send the Buccaneers into halftime with a 16-22 lead.
Jameis Winston >>> Joe Burrow >>> Joe Montana
— Aaron Freeman (@falcfans) December 29, 2019
Not many teams could give up that play
— Andy (@AndySGallagher) December 29, 2019
And then Koo kicked ANOTHER field goal. 19-22.
Had the Falcons kicked a field goal on the last drive, it would now be a tie game
— The Falcoholic (@TheFalcoholic) December 29, 2019
To send the Falcons to overtime, Koo made his 5th field goal of the game. 22-22.

Why do the Falcons punish us with more football? What did we do wrong in a past life?
— FalconsAreUnstoppableoholic Matt (@FalcoholicMatt) December 29, 2019
Tampa would start overtime with the ball.
Tampa Bay won the coin toss and will receive.
— Jason Butt (@JasonHButt) December 29, 2019
On the very first play of overtime, Jameis Winston threw his 30th interception of the season, and it was returned for the touchdown by Deion Jones, GAME OVER! Falcons win 28-22.
That's Jameis Winston's 30th INT of the season. First QB in NFL history to throw 30 TDs and 30 INTs in same season. Record seven pick-sixes on the year.
