Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson certainly thinks a lot of the three Denver receivers.
Good morning, and Happy Father’s Day, Broncos Country!
We’re in the part of the Denver Broncos journey back to relevance where “potential” is the sign post.
It’s been thrown out by national pundits the last few weeks to give the Broncos some positive national attention again — for both quarterback Drew Lock and the franchise.
The last subset of that is now on Denver’s trio of receivers.
Earlier this week, “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network asked on Twitter who has the best receiver trio in the NFL?
Given the allotment of toys John Elway added in the NFL draft, the Broncos are definitely on the list but with that keyword included as a caveat.
On the MHR Radio Podcast, Adam Malnati and I both think the trio of Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler have, wait for it, potential to be the best in the NFL.
That’s a bold statement since the trio hasn’t been on the field yet in an official capacity. There’s a lot of work that has to get accomplished for the receivers to get that distinction. Not to mention, two of them have never worked with Lock or been in a NFL offense before.
But the potential for that trio to be the best is definitely there.
Don’t take my word it, take it from one of the best receivers in the league the last 20 years.
Can i talk football & peculiar skill sets real quick please, it’s unfair that Jeudy & Hamler are lining up together, i can confidently say this is the first time I’ve seen 3 true number 1 receivers on 1 team‼️
