Good morning, GGN! It’s been rather quiet on the Jamal Adams front after his recent scorched earth campaign. Le’Veon Bell says Adams wants to stay with the Jets, but we haven’t heard that from Adams. We haven’t heard much of anything from Adams lately, other than a few tweets not directly related to his own situation with the Jets. Meanwhile, word has leaked that both the 49ers and the Seahawks, two division rivals, both with Super Bowl aspirations, have both engaged in discussions with the Jets regarding Adams. Two out of conference bitter rivals, bidding against each other to try to put the finishing touches on Super Bowl worthy rosters, would appear to create a close to ideal environment for the Jets to extract maximum value for Adams. Who knows how things will turn out, but if the recent relatively quiet period from Adams ends up being related to an eventual trade to the 49ers or Seahawks, it would not shock me.
