Among the rookies we discussed was what to expect from the Raiders’ rookie class early in the season. They are getting rave reviews, yet general manager Mike Mayock has tempered expectations.

Players like receivers Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards and cornerback Damon Arnette will play big early roles. But let’s take it easy on early-season expectations. It may take time for these players, even though they all might end up being great. This is simply an unusual year.
