Stefanski revealed the rendezvous took place when he spoke to Browns beat writers Friday during a Zoom video conference.
- Do the Browns need to sign more guards? (cleveland.com) - If you look at the roster on the Browns’ website, you’ll see only Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller listed as guards among the active players. That’s because the rest of the position group opted out of the 2020 season this week. Drew Forbes, Colby Gossett and Malcolm Pridgeon are among the five Browns sitting out the season due to coronavirus concerns, creating some depth questions at guard.

- Giants DeAndre Baker formally charged in robbery case (NY Daily News) - Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker has been charged with four counts of robbery with a firearm, Broward State Attorney Mike Satz announced on Friday. Baker, 22, was formally charged in connection with a May 13 incident in Miramar, Fla. He is accused of stealing cash and watches from four men at a house party in the city. If convicted, the punishment for robbery with a firearm is a mandatory minimum of 10 years and up to life in state prison.
- Saints add depth at LB, sign vet free agent Nigel Bradham (NFL.com) - Nigel Bradham is heading to the Big Easy. The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms on a deal with the 30-year-old linebacker, according to Friday’s transaction wire. The terms of the deal are undisclosed at this time.
- Cardinals rookie Isaiah Simmons not adjusting his goals amid coronavirus chaos (ESPN) - In normal, non-coronavirus times, Isaiah Simmons would’ve first come to Arizona on April 24, a day after he was drafted No. 8 overall by the Cardinals, to be introduced as the team’s first-round draft pick. Instead, the first time he set foot in the Cardinals’ facility was on July 25 — 92 days later — as Arizona’s rookies began their initial training camp experience.
- Derrius Guice arrested on domestic violence charges, released by Washington’s NFL team (Washington Post) - Shortly after running back Derrius Guice was arrested Friday on domestic violence-related charges, the Washington Football Team announced it was releasing the 23-year-old running back.
