Welcome to the Splash Zone, the quickest way to get your day started off right. We bring you a rundown of Miami Dolphins news from the last 24 hours.
The Miami Dolphins held a scrimmage at Hard Rock Stadium, but the day started out with some terrible news. We got the sad news that Ryan Fitzpatrick’s mother passed away, meaning the quarterback would not be in attendance for the scrimmage. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Fitzpatrick family during this difficult time.
This means Tua Tagovailoa led the first team offense and it wasn’t pretty. Josh Rosen didn’t fair well either. The offense had to go through 14 possessions before finally getting a touchdown which was also the only one thanks to Rosen and Ricardo Louis. But all in all, the defense won the day, shutting the offense down.
You can check out that story here, and the rest of the day’s round-up below.
