Several key members of the Tennessee Titans hopped on a conference call with the media on Monday afternoon. The calls included interviews with Taylor Lewan, Kevin Byard, Jonnu Smith and Harold Landry.
Among the topics discussed was how confident the Titans are as a group with veteran offensive linemen Dennis Kelly acting as the player rep to help get the team through the pandemic. If that means holding his teammates accountable, it’s clear that Kelly has no problem doing just that.
Byard got things kicked off by saying that Kelly has been “very anal” regarding precautions in relation to the spread of COVID-19.
.@KB31_Era said @DennisKelly67, the team's NFLPA rep, has been "very anal" about COVID-19 precautions -- Byard said he really appreciates that.

Lewan was the next Titan to reiterate what a fantastic job Kelly is doing staying on top of his teammates.
.@TaylorLewan77 on @DennisKelly67 being player rep and responsibilities: I think he would be an unbelievable dictator on how he is handling players wearing masks. Said he jumped his case for his mask being under his nose. @Titans

It’s great to see key members of the Titans’s leadership group such as Lewan and Byard showing so much public confidence in the job Kelly is doing.
The 2020 season is going to be a strange one, and having responsible players such as Kelly on the roster will only increase of the team’s chances of staying healthy and making yet another deep run into the playoffs.
That’s what we all want at the end of the day, right?
We fully expect Kelly to start at right tackle this season.
