Buccaneers at Giants: Friday Injury Report

Chris Godwin was the only player to miss practice due to injury on Friday

Chris Godwin was the only Buccaneers player to miss practice due to injury on Friday as we were already made aware that he would not play in the Monday night game in New York against the Giants. Godwin had surgery to repair a broken finger suffered in the win over the Raiders in week seven.

The Giants, on the other hand, are dealing with a positive COVID case along their offensive line, though it doesn’t seem to have the same impact as Trent Brown’s did for the Raiders in practice last week for the Las Vegas Raiders. The offensive linemen that came in contact with Will Hernandez were sent home on Wednesday but were able to return to practice today.

Outside of that, the big news for the Giants is that running back Devonta Freeman missed practice both Thursday and Friday with an ankle injury while for the Buccaneers everyone seems to be on track to play under the bright lights of Monday Night Football.
