Washington's Joshua Garnett, David Sharpe out vs. Giants

The Washington Football Team will be without two of their offensive linemen on Sunday against the New York Giants, but they’ll also be getting one back.

Tackle David Sharpe and guard Joshua Garnett have both been listed as out with a non-coronavirus-related illness.

Cornerback Greg Stroman (foot) will also miss the game after being placed on injured reserve, while defensive end Ryan Anderson (back) has been listed as questionable.

If Anderson can not play in Week 6, James Smith-Williams will likely take his place.

Finally, in positive injury news for Washington, right guard Brandon Scherff (knee), a former first-round pick, was activated from IR and is expected to start against the Giants on Sunday. That provides a major boost for Washington’s struggling offensive line.

Linebacker Cole Holcomb (knee) is also expected to play after not appearing on the injury report this week.
