It’s been worse this year.
The Buffalo Bills, who had to rule five players out of last week’s game due to injury, are improving across their roster ahead of their trip to Arizona. Outside of Mario Addison’s veteran rest day, the only players not practicing on Thursday were special teamer Taiwan Jones (hamstring) and Matt Milano (pectoral), who’s on Injured Reserve.
One slight area of concern is with Micah Hyde, who appeared on the injury report for the first time this week with an ankle injury. Hyde was a limited participant on Thursday, and Friday’s report will reveal whether it was a minor tweak or a longer-lasting injury.
Otherwise, the signs looked good for Buffalo’s roster this week. Mitch Morse (concussion) is a full participant in practice, set to clear the protocol for this weekend. Brian Winters (knee) and Cody Ford (ankle) upgraded from not practicing Wednesday to limited practice on Thursday. Jon Feliciano (back) has been a limited participant this week, but between those three guards, the team will probably have at least two starters available.
Tre’Davious White (ankle) didn’t practice Wednesday, but returned in a limited fashion on Thursday. Also a limited participant is Josh Norman (hamstring). If he doesn’t play this week, he’s definitely set to return after the bye.
T.J. Yeldon (back) has been a full participant this week, after his injury scratched him from consideration for last week’s game. Lastly, on the veteran injury management front, Jerry Hughes (foot) and John Brown (knee) were both full participants Thursday, after a rest day on Wednesday.
