This one is unwatchable
Monday night football features the New England Patriots on the road against the New York Jets. Sam Darnold is inactive on one side, and Stephon Gilmore is inactive on the other. Those are the two best players for their respective teams. The line has moved down to 10 with Darnold’s injury, and Joe Flacco will get the start.
The total on this game is 42, so Vegas is expecting a 26-16 New England victory. How on earth do they think Cam Newton and company will score over four times, even against the lowly Jets? That would be surprising, as Newton has struggled this season. The Patriots will be without N’Keal Harry, so Newton is down his “top” weapon.
Tonight is a great opportunity to step away from football unless you are a junkie. Watch a show. Make dinner. Finish that book you’ve been reading. Enjoy anything else that’s out there. It’ll be more entertaining than Monday night football.
