Everything you missed from today’s Cowboys practice.
With the Cowboys’ first preseason game fast approaching, fans are getting closer and closer to seeing the players actually play football again. In the meantime, though, practices continue to give us glimpses. Here are all the highlights from the Cowboys’ tenth practice.
First off, there were the guys who got some rest.
Maliek Collins, Tyron Smith, Amari Cooper, Zack Martin, Sean Lee are not practicing today

The Cowboys’ two young linebackers got some work in.

One of those linebackers, Leighton Vander Esch, made a play that had everyone doing his signature celebration:

Vander Esch also had his signature bus in attendance at practice.

Fan favorite Jourdan Lewis had himself a day, standing out in a number of ways:

The best part of this isn’t Chido’s PBU, it’s Jourdan Lewis’ celebration. pic.twitter.com/7xABe3PcTT

Vander Esch wasn’t the only linebacker to make noise in practice, as Joe Thomas stepped up.

Tony Pollard showed off his jets a little later though:

Pollard was also involved in a little bit of trickery that should excite the Kellen Moore truthers.
Just saw a flea-flicker from Tony Pollard back to Dak. Deep-ball fell incomplete. But can’t say I’ve seen many of those in past camp practices

Other things that should get fans excited: Dak Prescott hitting guys downfield.

Even fullback Jamize Olawale got in on the deep shots.

Of course, Dak wasn’t the only one throwing it deep.

Backup kicker Kasey Redfern continues to push Brett Maher.
Kasey Redfern went 5-of-6 during field goal period. He hit everything up close. His miss was from 45, and he finished with a make from 47.

Finally, David Helman got a little validation for his Jeff Heath fandom:
I’m a little emotional rn.

I made this dumb photo on Snapchat, like, two years ago and now someone brought it to camp to get signed.
