A faceoff between two 2019 LA Rams opponents on MNF. Methinks this will matter!
Big one tonight as the San Francisco 49ers host the Cleveland Browns.
The 3-0 Niners are one of only two undefeated teams left in the NFL the other being the 5-0 New England Patriots. With the Niners on deck against the Los Angeles Rams next week, tonight’s a key matchup the 49ers can’t overlook. They’ve got Nick Bosa ready to go, but we’ll have to see about Dee Ford and Tevin Coleman.
For the Browns at 2-2, it’s an opportunity to avoid the underside of .500. Getting out to 2-3 to start the year would be a huge disappointment for Browns fans given all the offseason hype they enjoyed. They’re still getting over the injury hump, so they may have to suffer from some roster depletions tonight.
Overall, it’s a big game that’s indicative of an NFL trying to figure itself at after five games. And one that might give us something to think about as we head toward Rams-Niners in Week 6.
