The Browns will look to topple an undefeated team on Monday night.
Are you tired of watching the Cleveland Browns on prime time? Well, too bad!
The Browns will travel to the Bay for their third prime time game of the 2019 season, facing off against the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. We have had three-straight blowout Monday Night Football games, but this could be a close match between two exciting offenses.
The 49ers are one of two undefeated teams left in the NFL, though they are coming off an early Week 4 bye. Jimmy Garoppolo has done well at the helm of the offense, with George Kittle, Marquise Goodwin, and Deebo Samuel being his primary targets. Out of the backfield, there is less clarity. Matt Breida, Tevin Coleman, Raheem Mostert, and Jeff Wilson have all contributed on the stat sheet—sorry, fantasy owners. The 49ers defense is another thing to be excited about, having yet to allow over 20 points in a game.
The Browns will be a challenge for San Francisco’s defense with their offense starting to find its groove. They dropped 40 points on the Baltimore Ravens last week, primarily due to Nick Chubb’s development into a superstar running back. He ran for 165 yards and three touchdowns against the Ravens defense. It was a night where Odell Beckham Jr. accounted for just 20 yards, with Jarvis Landry and Ricky Seals-Jones doing the most damage through the air.
Come chat with us as Week 5 comes to a close.
