Best thing about this, after the drill, Dwayne Haskins came over, bear hugged and picked up Chase with a big smile seemingly joking with him that’s the way to wrap a guy up https://t.co/T5SbggXdTj

A mostly sleepy, sloppy return to the practice field for the @WashingtonNFL just came to an end.

Lots of false starts, jumping offsides. Saw Antonio Gibson apparently line up wrong at least twice.
A couple of drops. Not as many turnover today, so I guess good.@WSHFootballSI
Ron Rivera on having a handful of penalties at today's practice after two days off the field: pic.twitter.com/sMkB2lGOFp

Loved this answer from Rivera. Admitted there was a little bit of selfishness early on, but he's seen everyone start to come together. Highlighted the offensive line and the defensive backs specifically. https://t.co/84J6nXFjh4

Despite a solid camp, TE Logan Thomas has been visibly frustrated at times. On one occasion, he threw him helmet. Today, he did 5 push-ups after going offsides. His explanation:

"I wanna be great, I demand to be great, so when I do something stupid, that's how it comes out."

"Last year wasn't good enough" is something that has been said multiple times by Bostic and Rivera today. They understand that more is needed if they want to improve, and it sounds like they are dedicated to getting more out of the team.

BREAKING: Derrius Guice told The Washington Football Team he had “anger issues” months before he was charged with domestic violence earlier this month, according to a search warrant. But team denies knowing of DV incidents until just before arrest 1/ https://t.co/IRJ2atoRIm

2/ Warning graphic: Guice strangled his girlfriend on a bed in his bedroom, search warrant says. When she came to, he said “I thought I lost you,” according to search warrant.

You may notice the 2020-041 under the “W”. 2020 stands for the year and 041 means it is ball 41 (out of 500)

How do you know if the facemask is titanium or carbon steel? You can find out by looking at if a “t” is created by the bars on the side of the facemask. I drew over the “t” here, which does not exist in the other picture. https://t.co/XydIo2WPt7 pic.twitter.com/jDIu6QxG6x

I asked new President of The Washington Football Team, Jason Wright, under his watch, how will female employees know they are safe & that if an issue arises there will be accountability?

NFL's Allen Sills said a player would be withheld from a regular season game if he's demonstrating Covid-19 symptoms even if that player tests negative. He called any team-shutdown determination “a complex decision that has several layers to it.”
— MarkMaske (@MarkMaske) August 28, 2020
Allen Sills said the NFL is prepared to shut down teams if needed during season: "If we have one positive test with 50 close contacts... that might be a situation where you’ve got a team that can’t participate, as opposed to having two positive tests with no close contacts.”

NFL owners should be careful. A few prominent Black players are telling me they want to sit out a game to make their feelings felt & force change/action. They are tired, frustrated and emotional. It’s only a few at this point, but sparks become flames & flames become infernos.

Brady said the piped-in sound at Raymond James Stadium at scrimmage today sounded like "one of the Colts' old tapes in the RCA Dome."

The man who played Jackie Robinson in 42, dies on Jackie Robinson Day. He gave little black boys a superhero to look up to with Black Panther. He performed in game-changing and impactful movie roles as he quietly battled cancer. Boseman left his mark. Rest in Power. https://t.co/EOiqLewsSB
