The New York Jets travel south when they face off against the Atlanta Falcons tonight in Atlanta, Georgia. The game starts at 7:30 pm EDT. The weather in Atlanta will be hot, as expected in the deep south this time of year. Skies will be clear throughout the game. Winds will be out of the north northwest at 5 - 10 mph. Temperatures will start the game near 90 degrees and dip into the lower 80s in the second half. Humidity will be low to moderate, in the upper 30s to start the game and rising throughout the evening to the mid 50s by game’s end. The risk of showers will be near zero throughout the game. This will make for a lovely evening for spectators as they arrive outside the stadium and as they depart.
Inside the climate controlled Mercedes Benz Stadium conditions for players and spectators will be much like they are for those viewing the game at home. It will be comfortable, with steady temperatures in the low 70s, low humidity, no wind to speak of and no chance of showers.
Enjoy the game everybody.
