Giants vs. Vikings, Week 5: Game time, TV channel, odds, live stream, radio, more

Here is everything you need to watch, listen to and bet on Sunday’s game

After two consecutive victories with rookie QB Daniel Jones under center, the New York Giants finally seem like they won’t roll over and die. There’s life in the city again! There’s life for this season! And that’s something to get excited about.

The good news is that WR Golden Tate returns from his four-game suspension. The receiving corps in general is looking healthy and producing. And the Giants offense is in the top-10 in average yards per game (seveenth overall), averaging 403. They haven’t shown much to cheer about on defense this season, sitting 25th among all teams in yards allowed.

Defense is another story. Needing depth at inside linebacker, the team promoting undrafted rookie Josiah Tauaefa from their practice squad. The Giants placed starting inside linebacker Ryan Connelly on season-ending injured reserve on Monday after he suffered a torn ACL. Alec Ogletree (hamstring) and Tae Davis (concussion) missed Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins and their statuses going forward remain uncertain.

Big Blue will face off against Minnesota, which currently sports the sixth-best defense in terms of yards allowed. Their offense is another story, with QB Kirk Cousins having a poor season thus far, even apologizing to wide receiver Adam Thielen this week. Meanwhile, star receiver Stefon Diggs is (sort of) expressing his discontent in Minnesota.
